This event might be too hot, hot that can “burn” your eyes; this event might be over your limit, yet it can always be in your range. This event is heavily involved with leather and fetish topics.

 

Mufasa Ali,“The man of ONYX is a leather and fetish club for men of color. We started in 1995. There wasn’t much for men of color, men of other orientation than whites. We came together and I am the founder of the organization. Now we have chapters in Atlanta, Washington D.C., New York City, and here in Chicago, and soon in Southern and Northern California.”

Mufasa Ali：“ONYX是一个对非裔种族非常友好的皮革性癖狂热俱乐部。此团队在1995年成立。以前像这样的组织少之又少。我是我们ONYX团队的创始人。现在我们在亚特兰大、华盛顿、纽约、芝加哥都有分公司，加州那边的分公司也即将成立。”

 

今年的“国际皮革先生大会”总共吸引了大约两万男女老少，齐聚美国芝加哥市中心的万豪酒店。这里呀，不仅可以在视觉上得到享受，就连你的皮鞋也可以享享福咯！

This year’s International Mr. Leather event attracted about 20,000 attendees headquartered at the Marriot Hotel in Chicago. Right here, there’s a lot to see, your leather shoes can also get treated nicely.

Dara Bryant(International Ms. Bootblack 2014), “Boot blacking is traditional in the leather community, which we do leather care on the boots, sort of like shoe shining, but it is more of you have relationship with the person through the leather, and through the boots.”

Dara Bryant：“擦皮鞋是一种传统的皮革文化。虽然说我们也会打鞋油、为皮鞋做保养，但与此同时，我们更注重的是人与人可以通过对皮鞋的热爱从而更近距离接触与交流。”

 

整项皮革先生活动长达5天，除了性玩具展会和互动环节之外，还有一场非常精彩的选秀大赛。今年的国际皮革先生最终由Ramien Pierre摘得桂冠。然而，最有意思的是，今年获奖的皮革先生还可以成为皮革小姐的绶带老公。

This event was lasting for 5 days. Besides the sex toy market and all the different conferences, the competition for International Mr. Leather is very exciting. This year’s Mr. Leather winner is Ramien Pierre. However, the most interesting thing is, Mr. Pierre can be this year’s Ms. Leather’s sash husband.

 

Patty (International Ms. Leather 2014), “For the competition itself, there are a number of categories: there is an interview with judges, there is a teaching segment, a fantasy scene. Of course, they want to see how you interact with people. In my title year, you have to spend time raising awareness, doing education around, being very sex positive, around LBGT issues, and there is an International Ms. Leather Foundation, which is a non-profit organization to raise funds, to do education, awareness, and to promote leather history.”

Patty：“这些竞赛活动里一般包括很多环节。比如说：你需要通过评委们的面试，还有一对一教学辅导环节，接下来就是华丽的自我展示环节。评委最关注的是我们的交际能力。今年，我的任务就是做一些慈善活动，教育并宣传健康的性知识。我们的国际皮革小姐组织是一个非营利组织，为皮革文化及同性团体做正面宣传。”
