At this theater you can fulfill both your eyes and your taste buds. The food dishes are named after Hollywood stars and movies, and you can enjoy watching both the latest movies and classical movies at the each of the different Hollywood themed auditoriums.

很多人都喜欢怀旧，而经典电影更能唤起影迷们美好的回忆。这不，李小龙之子李国豪的经典之作《乌鸦》今晚就在这里重映，更吸引人的是啊，片中的好莱坞明星白灵也会到此出席宣传活动。

Many people like flashbacks moments, and the classical films are always so unforgettable. The movie “The Crow” starring Brandon Lee is playing in the theater tonight. Brandon’s co-star Bai Ling will be here doing a public appearance as well.

 

美翎：美籍华人影星白灵是一位非常非常有争议的人物，而今天我对她的专访却深深打动了我。今天在Hollywood Palms 这个影院里面，白灵会为大家签名并合影。

Meiling: The Chinese-born Hollywood actress Bai Ling is a very controversial lady in China. However, today my interview with her really impressed me. Today, she will be doing a public appearance here at Hollywood Palms Theater.

 

 

Bai Ling, “Here in Chicago, I am very excited to see the movie “The Crow,” which is my very first English language film, so I didn’t understand anything at all. I was taking one month to read the script, but I still couldn’t understand. But today I speak English. It is kind of sweet and sadness to talk about the movie and see the movie, because something happened to the movie and this is Brandon Lee’s last movie. It is quite important, and quite unique, and magic sort of movie.”

今天很高兴来到芝加哥与影迷们一起重温这部电影《乌鸦》。《乌鸦》是我的第一部美国电影。那时我的英语不好，剧本都看了一个月了，但还是看不懂。不过呢，现在我可以用很流利的英语去交流了。拍这部戏时，李小龙的儿子李国豪不幸意外遇难了，所以每当我看这电影的时候，既有快乐又有悲伤。这部电影对于我来说比较特别。

今天参加白灵见面会的影迷们还真不少，那我们就听一听他们都怎么说吧！

Cortney Kern, “I am here to see Bai Ling tonight; I am a huge fan of the movie “The Crow,” it has been one of my all-time favorite movies. The soundtrack was always in my CD player as a child. It meant a lot for me to come here tonight. Just meeting her in person she is so well-mannered, and very nice. I can tell she knew I was a fan, it wasn’t those feelings like “Aw-oh, what do you do,” but she was very kind and very heart warming, so it is an honor to be here tonight to see and meet her.”

Cortney Kern, “我今晚特意过来看白灵的。我一直都非常喜欢《乌鸦》这部电影。在我小的时候，我的光碟里经常放这电影的主题曲。今天能够见到白

在这个Hollywood Palms 影院里，收集了好多好多好莱坞影星的照片，而这个呢，就是Lauren Bacall，一位刚刚去世的影星，让大家记忆犹新。

There are many posters of Hollywood stars on the wall at this theater. This one is the famous actress Lauren Bacall, who just passed away recently.

 

这个影院的大厅里还经常会展出很多好莱坞电影所用过的道具和服装，比如说电影《佐罗》中女主角曾在电影里穿过的裙子，还有电影《野风》男主角穿的大衣。就连最近很火的电影《罪恶之城》（Sin City）里的道具车也在这里公开展览。

There are many display cases for movie props and wardrobe, such as Catherine Zeta-Jones’ dress in “The Legend of Zorro,” and John Wayne’s coat from the movie “Reap the Wild Wind.” The famous car from the latest “Sin City” is also displayed at the theater for a short time.

 

Hollywood Palms影院总会定期邀请很多好莱坞名人来开展粉丝见面会。在影院官方网页上还经常公布每周所播放的经典老电影列表。虽然这种主题影院只开业几年，但是它给人的感觉却是源远流长、回味无穷。

Hollywood Palms always invites different Hollywood celebrities to do public appearances. The weekly list for showing classical movies is on their website. Although the theater was just opened several years ago, it really shows the long and wonderful history of Hollywood.
